The Battalion S1 and Brigade S1 database is completed, Click Here for video. This is one database that can be used at both Battalion and Brigade levels, a Human Resources database packed with features.

Our intentions to create one standard across the Army for all Army Human Resources professionals so when you enter a new S1 shop, the database you use will be the same. At only $35 per license you can afford to purchase the custom Microsoft Access database yourself or go through your installation information management office for permission to use a Government credit card.

We've completely revampled the S1 database from .Net to Microsoft Access 2007, no more administrator requirements when installing or updating. We have incorporated the new ribbon system for better menu options. The S1 database is a system designed to integrate those additional tasks required to effectively run a Human Resources S1 section. If you don't see everything you want in it, after using it let us know. We plan to release updates often during this first year or release. CLICK HERE to BUY NOW

Note: This is MS Access, you don't need permission to place this on your computer. There is no 3rd party software integrated. You can request your S4/S6 purchase using a Government IMPAC credit card, just make sure the installation IT personnel understand, it is a custom designed database using MS Access. You are not purchasing MS Access, just the service which is the custom designed database. Any questions please contact us.

The Army has provided many great tools for you to input Soldier arrivals, update Soldier records, but they have fallen a little short on providing a standard tool to manage the smaller parts of tracking the individual Soldier's action through most parts of an organization, from Company all the way up the chain. ArmyDatabase.com is here to help and being a Veteran run organization we have no intention on charging a small fortune for our hard work. While we can't give this great product away for free, we are only going to charge $20 per license. If you only want one Soldier to input data, you would put the database on that Soldiers computer, if you want multiple personnel to access the database, you would just purchase the number of licenses you need and share the main databse over your private shared drive.

How will the S1 Database make your life easier?

  • Personnel Data - A main form to input all personnel in your organization.
    • Soldier Data - Includes basic Soldier information, Service Data, Unit Data, Loss Information.
      • Note - We are removing Social Security Numbers and complete Date of Births from the database. The unique Employee Identification Number (EIN) will be created based on the Soldiers last few characters of their last name and the Soldier's last four of their SSN. You'll still be able to perform Soldier lookups in the S1 database by EIN or Name.
    • Personal - Contact information, gender, etc so you can conduct quarterly EO reports when requested based on award submissions.
    • Family - Spouse data, Next of Kin (NOK), Family Care Plans (FCP), and Exception Family Member Program (EFMP).
    • Education - GT score, Highest Military Ed, Civilian education levels, also includes complete history of military and civilian education if you want to track that information.
    • Medical - Basic medical information, tracks dental exam dates, pregnancy due dates, etc.
  • Awards - Track Department of the Army awards submitted, AAMs, etc. You will have a tracker to input multiple awards for one individual as required. All Soldier records are pulled from the main personnel table, and reports are only generated on "Pending Awards".
    • Reports - Some of the reports planned include, awards pending grouped by presentation date, month and year with a count of all records in the group. Complete Awards so you can track for historical purposes.
  • Personnel Actions - This form will work like the awards form, you will be able to track any kind of personnel action you want, retirements, MOS reclass, anything submitted on 4187, by memo, etc. The personnel actions report groups on month and year received.
  • Leaver Tracker - You will be able to track all leaves, passes, TDYs, anything submitted by DA Form 31. A special report can be generated to see all forms submitted that should be given to the Staff Duty or even signed and returned to a Battalion S1 in a timely manner if using the database at the Brigade level. This is significant because we all know how things get hectic, you'll be able to go let the Commander know they have someones DA Form 31 on their desk and the Soldier is signing out today or during the weekend.
  • Finance Tracker - Track all leave actions turned in for a Soldier and close them out when action is complete.
  • Evaluations - Track evaluations submitted for Enlisted and Officers. Includes an Enlisted and Officer rating scheme. Our intent is to include email capabilities so all chains concerned can be notified via email that an evaluation is due on someone they rate or someone that falls within their command. If it isn't released in this version, it will be in the next version with "No Additional Charge".
  • Boards and Promotions - Board tracker with a report generator to keep up with E4 to E5 boards and E5 to E6 boards. It will produce a report of all Soldiers appearing before the board. It will also include a Soldier board tracker to track Soldiers and NCOs scheduled to appear before any board you have scheduled. The promotions portion is being developed, more to follow.
  • Strength Management - COMING SOON This will include an Enlisted Strength Management module to create an Enlisted MOS Inventory. For Officers you will be tracking Officer slating, you input Officer positions available and the report will print out with Officers name, simple strength information like known loss data and the invidual that will replace the Officer. We find this is the best method to use for Officers, they fill a lot of immaterial positions. You'll still be able to fill in the authorized position and put any Officer in the slot with their current AOC/MOS so you can see that information easily.
  • Miscellaneous - We will include some additional reports, birthday reports, anniversary reports, and some other functionality. Remember complete date of births won't be allowed in the database, only month and year. You won't be able to get a Soldier's age from the database but simply run a birthday report for morale. This database is mainly intended to make tracking easier, not store Personally Identifiable Information.

Get the database now, updates will remain free for a minimum of six months. We plan on releasing multiple after this initial release.
